Topaz is the November birthstone. Blazing red topaz is a treated version of natural white topaz. This treatment shows blue flecks of color in the stone. The treatment of this stone is permanent and does not require any special care.
Care and Cleaning:
It is recommended to use a mild soapy water to clean gemstone jewelry instead of harsh silver cleaners. A polishing cloth can also brighten up the metal when used occasionally. Once this ring is adjusted to fit your finger, it should stay that size. Sterling silver is a softer metal and the constant bending of the shank could cause it to weaken.
