Paraiba topaz is actually a treated blue version of natural white topaz. It gets its name "Paraiba" from the widely coveted "Paraiba Tourmaline" that is similar in color. This treatment is permanent and does not require additional care

Care and Cleaning:
It is recommended to use a mild soapy water instead of harsh silver cleaners. Also, a polishing cloth can brighten the metal when used occasionally. Even though paraiba topaz is a treated version of natural white topaz, the treatment is stable and permanent. All regular cleaning tips apply.
